How to quickly and easily log in to MGN

When you log in to the application, a log in verification code is emailed to your primary or alternate email address. You choose which email address you want the verification code to be sent to.

This is called 2FA, which stands for 2 factor authentication. The first factor being the user name and password being entered, the second factor is of course the email verification code.  2FA is an important and necessary and now standard security requirement. Other methods of 2FA include a code sent via SMS and using an authenticator app on your phone. We will add the option of using an authenticator app in the future

MGN is designed to be used on a continual basis, just like you use your mail software on your desktop or notebook. Most users will just stay logged in to MGN, and only need to log in again if they restart their desktops/notebooks. 

A quick way of entering the verification code from the email into the application, is to use the copy and paste functions built into your computer's operating system. 

To copy and paste the verification code without having to manually type it in, do this:

• Double click on the verification code in the email, the selected code will be highlighted
• Do a control C on your keyboard, hold down the control key while you click on C (to copy the code).
• Do a control V in the "Verification code from email" data field on the Log in form (to paste the code).

These keyboard shortcuts will work for both the Windows and the Apple iOS operating systems.
